With very low overhead, woodworking is such a viable business that just about anyone with enough room in their garage can do it. Toys are quite simple, you just need to follow the templates shown in the plans and assemble all your cut pieces. Wooden clocks are also popular items with people these days, and they are pretty easy to make. All you need to do is create the housing for the clock’s mechanism and then install a simple quartz clock mechanism which can be bought in craft and hobby stores.
Once you have finished making a couple of items, and you are fairly pleased with their workmanship, then it is time for you to sell them. You can either go to swap meets or craft fairs and sell them there, or you can post them in online auction sites. Once your woodworking skills improve and you are able to create great looking wooden pieces of art, your customers will keep coming back for more.
