Everyone should consider safety when working with wood. The tools are sharp or pointed, and therefore, they should be used carefully. Keep your tools organized so that you can easily find the specific tool you need when you need it. Place it in a tool box or a cabinet and keep kids away from it to avoid accidents. Also, find an area where you could work comfortably. It should be a place in your house where people do not usually stay. It is important that nobody interferes as you work. If there is no such space at your home, try working on the garage or the backyard.
Check the electrical wirings of power tools regularly. Clean it and use oil when necessary. If there seems to be a problem, bring it to an electrician to fix it.
• Designs
Creativity is important here. Though you can find references online and on books, do not limit yourself with those. Try different styles and designs. Select a particular design before you start woodworking. Consider your surrounding in doing so because the design might not fit the theme of your house. Be sure to have a sketch or a photograph to avoid mistakes.
